TITLE: ~ RESOLUTION LEVYING GENSR~L PROPERTY TAXES FOR TH~ YEAR
199rJ, TO HELP DEFMY THE COSTS OF G()Vr-:RN~1ENT FOR THE CITY
OF 'mEAT RIDSE, COLORADO, FOR THE 1991 BUDGET YEAR.
HHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Hheat Ridge \vill
adopt the annual budget in accordance with the Local Govern~ent
sudget Law, prior to Dece~ber 31, 1990 and;
\'7HSREAS, the amount of money necessary to balance the
budget for general operating expenses is $568,301, and;
WRSRE~S, the 1990 valuation for assessment for the City of
Wheat Ridge as certified by the County Assessor is $231,263,060.
NO\\T, TJIEPEFORE BE IT RESOLVE,) BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO:
A. That the purpose of meeting all general operating
exryenses of the City of Wheat nidge during the 1991 budget year,
there is hereby levied a tax of 2.458 mills upon each dollar of
the total valuation for assessment of all taxable Droperty within
the City for the year 1990.
B. That the Mayor of the City of ~nleat Rid~e is hereby
authorized and directed to im~ediately certify to the County
Commissioners of Jefferson County, Colorado, the :ilill levy for
the City of 'fueat Ridge as hereinabove determined and set.
