RESOLUTION NO. 1230
TITLE:
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER TO OPEN A
NEW BANK ACCOUNT FOR THE PURPOSE DESCRIBED BELOW:
WHEREAS, the City Parks and Recreation Department has agreed to
collect fees for trips and tours from trip participants for deposit into
the general fund; and
WHEREAS, the City allows a participant to sign up and pay up to
the time of departure; and
WHEREAS, it is not practical to make payments to businesses and
vendors of trip destinations through the City's regular accounts payable
system; and
WHEREAS, there is a need to facilitate the making of such payments
on the date of departure,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Wheat Ridge,
that the City Treasurer be authorized to open a separate bank account for
the purpose described above.
DONE AND RESOLVED this 26th day of November, 1990
