WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge has expended General
and Open SDacB funds for the construction, acquisition and
~alntenance of Darks and open spaco Drojects in 1990,
WHEREAS, the voters ~f Jefferson County voted on
~l 0 v e r,l be r 4, 1 ') 13 0 to a I I :) \'I ex pen d I t u res for the con s t r u c t ion and
maintenance of Darks and open space,

Rld~o that the Jefferson County Open Space officials process the
request for reimbursement for the approved construction,
acquisition anj maintenance of parks and open soaCB In tho City
of ~heat Ridge, Colorado.

REQUEST FOR REIMBURSEMENT AND
CERTIFICATION OF USE OF FUNDS
The City of ~heat RidGe hereby requests from tho Board of
~ounty Commissioners of Jefferson County, State of Colorado,
rei~burse~ent from the Jefferson County OD8n Space fund in the
amount of Thirty-two thousand five hundred sixteen and 52/100
(S'i:?,516.52) to ,)'~ ta!<)n 100% from the "::ity of 'lh,j3t ~idlels
attributable share of the aDen Space fund, not to exceed the
present portion of their attributable share received sU~S8qunnt
to January 1, 1')31.

This request constitutes) certificotion by the City Counci I
of th," City of "hei'd !:ld,'jo to the '1oiJrd of County Commissioners
of Jefferson County that the ~ity of ~heat ~id~3 has expended tho
amount of t32,515.52 for the purposes fully described below.
The City Councl I of the City of ~heat ~idqo also certifies
that al I of the expenditures I isted below constitute purposes
which arJ authorized by the Jefferson County Open Space
Res~lution as adopted by the voters on November 7, 1q72 and
amended on November 4, 1Q80. In addition, this certifies that

In accordance with the Jefferson County Open Space
f( 0 sol uti 0 n, the r; 0 u n t y, 0 r i ~- s d 8 S i q n ate d r e p r (~ s e n tat i V'3, In a y, i f
it so desires, audit the wor~ Dapers uti I ized by the ~ity of
'1heat Ridqo to prepare this certification and request. This
certification and request has baen duly authorized by a written
Resclution 1 adoptod oy the City Counci I on December 10,
1990, a certified copy of which is attached, by which the ~heat
Ridqa City Counci I certifies to the Soard of County Commissioners
of Jefferson County that the funds specified herein have beon
expended only for the purposes stated and authorizes the ~1ayor to
siqn this request for reimbursement and certification of
expenditures.
This certification also certifies to the Soard of County
Commissionors of Jefferson County that the facilities, proqrams,
projects upon which the funds have been expanded shal I be open to
the '~enera I pUll I i c and the IJS(~ thereof sha II not bD restr i cted
solely to the persons who resido within the City.
