HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution-1990-1251 RESOLUTION NO. 175] SERIES OF 1991 TITLE: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE SETTING FORTH THE CITY COUNCIL'S INTENTION TO AUTHORIZE COOPERATIVE PURCHASING. WHEREAS, to provide authorization to the Purchasing Agent to enter Into cooperative purchasIng endeavors with other units of government. WHEREAS, there can be tangible benefits and cost savings to the City of Wheat Ridge. WHEREAS, this Series of 1984, and Resolution No. 909. resolution supplements Resolution No. 909 does not rescind any of the requirements of NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Wheat Ridge as follows: SECTION 1: COOPERATIVE PURCHASING AUTHORIZED: It shall be the policy of the City of Wheat Ridge that the City's Purchasing Agent may either participate in, sponsor, conduct, or administer a cooperative purchasing agreement for the procurement of any supplies, services, or construction with one or more units of government in accordance with an agreement entered into between the participants. Such cooperative purchasing may include, but is not limited to, joint or multi-party contracts between units of government and the open-ended State Award Contracts and Price Agreements which are made available to local governments. SECTION 2: SALE, ACQUISITION, OR USE OF SUPPLIES: The City of Wheat Ridge may sell to, acquire from, or use any supplies belonging to another unit of government, and the City of Wheat Ridge may enter into an agreement with any other unit of government for the cooperative use of supplies or services under the terms agreed upon between the parties. SECTION 3: JOINT USE OF FACILITIES: common other agreed The City of use or lease of facilities with upon between the Wheat Ridge may enter into agreements for the warehousing facilities, capital equipment, and another unit of government under the terms parties.
