HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution-1991-1248 RESOLUTION NO. 1248 Series 1991 TITLE: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE AUTHORIZING THE JEFFERSON COUNTY OPEN SPACE OFFICIALS TO SECURE A PROFESSIONAL APPRAISAL, SURVEY AND TITLE COMMITMENT RELATING TO, NEGOTIATE FOR THE ACQUISITION OF, AND TO ACQUIRE THE PROPERTY CONSISTING OF APPROXIMATELY 13,000 SQUARE FEET LOCATED AT 4340 GARRISON STREET, IN WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO. WHEREAS, the property consisting of 13,000 square feet more or less, also known by street addcess of 4340 Garrison Street, is located in Wheat Ridge, Colorado; and WHEREAS, said property is located in an area of Ridge where the Parks and Open Space Plan of Wheat recommends that additional land to be utilized for Maintenance purposes be acquired; and Wheat Ridge Park WHEREAS, the City desires to acquire this property under the Jefferson County Open Space Program; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Wheat Ridge, that the Jefferson County Open Space officials are hereby authorized and requested to secure a professional appraisal, survey, title commitment, negotiate in good faith for the acquisition and, subject to final acceptance of the agreed purchase price by the Wheat Ridge City Council, to acquire the property for Park Maintenance purposes. DONE AND RESOLVED this 8th day of Apri 1 1991.
