RESOLUTION NO. 1252

TITLE: A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE ANNUAL
BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1991.
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge Annual Budget for the fiscal
year 1991 has been adopted through Resolution No. 1226, on
November 26, 1990; and
WHEREAS, the actual carryover fund balance from 1990 is greater
than the amount budgeted for 1991 because of unanticipated
additional revenues for both the General and Capital Projects
funds;
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge received an unanticipated $4,700
from the Victim Assistance and Law Enforcement Fund for the
purpose of purchasing equipment for the Support Services Division
of the Police Department;
WHEREAS, the Capital Projects Fund increased the 1991 fund
balance by adding unspent monies from 1991 closed out projects
that was unanticipated during the preparation of the 1991 budget;
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council of the City of
Wheat Ridge to amend the 1991 Annual Budget by increasing the
budgeted revenues in the General and Capital Projects Funds by
$1,146,327 as follows:

and; by increasing the budgeted expenditures in the General and
Capital Projects Funds by $1,146,327 as follows:

WHEREAS, this amendment increases the 1991 General Fund budget to
$11,282,388, the 1991 Capital Projects Fund budget to $4,044,855,
and the total City of Wheat Ridge budget as of this transaction
to $17,800,380.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the city of
Wheat Ridge, Colorado:
A. That the City of Wheat Ridge Annual Budget for the fiscal
year 1991 be amended as provided in this resolution; and
B. The State Division of Local Governments be notified of said
amendments as required by State Statute.
