TITLE:
A RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION 1259 SERIES OF 1991
AUTHORIZING THE JEFFERSON COUNTY OPEN SPACE OFFICIALS TO
SECURE A SURVEY, TITLE COMMITMENT AND NEGOTIATE FOR THE
ACQUISITION OF AND TO ACQUIRE THE PROPERTY CONSISTING OF
APPROXIMATELY TWO AND ONE QUARTER ACRES (2.25) LOCATED
NORTH OF 35TH AVENUE BETWEEN EVERETT STREET AND FLOWER
STREET IN WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO.
WHEREAS, as the Wheat Ridge City Council approved
Resolution 1259 Series of 1991 authorizing Jefferson County Open
Space officials to negotiate for the acquisition of 2.25 acres of
property located north of 35th Avenue between Everett Street and
Flower Street in Wheat Ridge, and
WHEREAS, the property owner no longer desires to sell
this property to the City of Wheat Ridge as evidences by their
letter of April 14, 1992.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the city Council of the
City of Wheat Ridge that Resolution 1259 Series of 1991 be
rescinded and that the Jefferson County Open Space officials
discontinue negotiation for the acquisition of approximately two
and one quarter acres (2. 25) of property located north of 35th
Avenue between Everett Street and Flower Street in Wheat Ridge.
