TITLE:
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF THE JEFFERSON
COUNTY OPEN SPACE APPLICATION AND MERIT EVALUATION FOR
THE 1994 JOINT VENTURE/GRANT PROJECT TO LANDSCAPE WHEAT
RIDGE PARK AT 44TH AND FIELD STREET.
WHEREAS, the voters of Jefferson County voted on November
4, 1980 to allow for maintenance and development of Open Space
lands and property; and
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Open Space has instituted
a Joint Venture/Grant Project program; and
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge has park improvement
project needs that are beyond our means; and
WHEREAS, the city of Wheat Ridge has the opportunity to
enter into a Joint Venture/Grant Project with Jefferson County Open
Space for joint funding.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the city of Wheat
Ridge submit the Jefferson County Open Space Application and Merit
Evaluation for a 1994 joint venture/grant development project to
landscape Wheat Ridqe Park at 44th and Field.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Wheat Ridge Park
Landscaping is the second priority project.
