TITLE:
RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE CITY OF
OFFICIAL POSITION REGARDING APPROVAL
PERMIT REQUESTING A TRAFFIC SIGNAL
BLVD AT W 39TH AVE
WHEAT RIDGE
OF THE ACCESS
ON WAD:3WORTH
WHEREAS, Wadsworth Blvd is a state
therefore under the jurisdiction of the Colorado
Transportation; and

property onto Wadsworth Blvd., and

WHEREAS, upon redevelopment of the Park 'N Shop
subdivision the property owners will dedicate right of way to
help achieve the 130 foot requirement of the Colorado Department
of Transportations major regional arterial classification for
Wadsworth Blvd , and
WHEREAS, the redevelopment of the Park 'N Shop
subdivision will improve significantly the economic viability of
a primary commercial area in the City of Wheat Ridge.

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
Wheat Ridge, that approval of the access permit
traffic signal on Wadsworth Blvd at W 39th Ave
supported by the City of Wheat Ridge.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Wheat Ridge that the Mayor and City Administrator and other
administrative staff hereby are authorized by the City Council to
take any and all actions, including communicating with other
State officials and negotiating an intergovernmental
agreement,to offically express the City's position and to secure
approval of the access request for the traffic signal on
Wadsworth Blvd at W. 39th Ave.
