TITLE:
A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE EMPLOYEE'S INVESTMENT OF
ALL EMPLOYER CONTRIBUTIONS
WHEREAS, the governing body of the City of Wheat Ridge has
previously adopted the Colorado County Officials and Employees Retirement
Association (CCOERA) Prototype Retirement Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Retirement Plan presently allows the Participants to
self-direct the investment of all Employee contributions, all Voluntary Contributions,
and the vested portion of the Employer contributions: and
WHEREAS, the Governing body of the City of Wheat Ridge has
determined that Participants should be allowed to invest the entire portion of the
matching Employer contributions, regardless of whether such contributions are
vested in the Employee:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Wheat Ridge City Council
that the City of Wheat Ridge hereby elects to allow Retirement Plan Participants to
self-direct all Employer contributions, effective the first day of August, 1994. Such
election may be revoked prospectively only.
