TITLE:
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
SIGN THE MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT FROM THE COLORADO
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION APPROVING A TEMPORARY
EASEMENT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A BOAT CHUTE DROP
STRUCTURE IN JOHNSON PARK AND A PERMANENT EASEMENT FOR
THE CONSTRUCTION OF A STORM WATER OUT FALL IN JOHNSON
PARK.
WHEREAS, the Colorado Department of Transportation has
requested a temporary easement to construct a boat chute drop
structure in Johnson Park and a permanent easement to construct a
storm water out fall in Johnson Park for the benefit of the 1-76/
Wadsworth interchange improvements project {I(CX)076-1(151)}; and
WHEREAS, the Colorado Department of Transportation will pay
the City $500 for the two easements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to approve the
construction of the boat chute drop structure in Johnson Parki
and
WHEREAS, the city Council desires to approve the temporary
easement for the construction of the boat chute in Johnson Park;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to approve the permanent
easement for the construction of a storm water out fall in
Johnson Park, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE WHEAT RIDGE CITY COUNCIL
THAT:
The Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to sign the Memorandum of
Agreement from the Colorado Department of Transportation
approvlng the temporary easement for the construction of a boat
chute drop structure in Johnson Park and a permanent easement for
the construction of a storm water out fall in Johnson Park for
the benefit of the I-76/Wadsworth interchange improvement project
{I(CX)076-1(151)}.
