RESOLUTION NO. 1472

TITLE:
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 1995 CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE ANNUAL
BUDGET TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR COMPLETION OF
THE FIRST WHEAT RIDGE POST OFFICE
WHEREAS, the
Historical society have
Wheat Ridge Post Office;
City of wheat Ridge and
initiated the restoration
and
Wheat Ridge
of the First
WHEREAS, a transfer of $10,000 was made in 1994 from the
General Fund in order to provide a source of cash flow for work to
be undertaken at the post office; and
WHEREAS, the $10,000 transferred from the City of Wheat
Ridge General Fund is to be reimbursed to the General Fund upon
completion of the project and receipt of grants from Jefferson
County Open Space and the state Historic Fund; and
WHEREAS, the Wheat Ridge First Post Office maintains an
unappropriated fund balance of $6,175; and
WHEREAS, addi tional work needs to be undertaken to
complete the restoration of the First Wheat Ridge Post Office;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the 1995 budget for
the First Wheat Ridge Post Office be amended to appropriate $6,175
and that said funds be placed into expenditure line 58-601-800-890
for the purpose of expenditure on restoration of the First Wheat
Ridge Post Office.
