A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING CONSTUCTION OF SOUND BARRIERS
FROM TABOR TO 38TH AVENUE (TABOR STREET TO 38TH AVENUE)
ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF I-70.
WHEREAS, the Wheat Ridge City Council has expressed its
support for the construction of sound barriers on the
south side of I-70, from Miller Street to Tabor Street,
which has been previously planned and scheduled for
construction by the State Department of Transportation,
and;
WHEREAS, the Wheat Ridge City Council has discussed the
possible benefits of a sound barrier on the south side of
I-70 from Tabor Street to West 38th Avenue,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Wheat Ridge City
Council that:
The State Department of Transportation be requested to
analyze the construction of sound barriers on the south
side of I-70 from Tabor Street to 38th Avenue, and if
feasible, construct said sound barriers in conjunction
with the sound barriers that have been planned on the
south side of I-70 from Miller Street to Tabor Street in
the City of Wheat Ridge.
DONE AND RESOLVED this 18th day of September, 1995.
