HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution-1995-1500 CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO RESOLUTION NO. 1500 Series of 1995 TITLE: A RESOLUTION MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS OF FACT REGARDING THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF A PARCEL OF LAND TO THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wheat Ridge, Colorado, has found a petition for the annexation of the hereinafter described parcel of land to be in substantial compliance with the requirements of Section 31-12-l07(1), Colorado Revised Statues; and WHEREAS, the City Clerk has provided notice of public hearing on the proposed annexation by publication once per week for four successive weeks and by registered mail to the Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners, the County Attorney, the school district and to any special district having territory in the area to be annexed; and WHEREAS, the City Council has completed a to determine if the proposed annexation complies 3l-l2-104 and 105, Colorado Revised Statutes, eligibility for annexation. public hearing with Sections to establish NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Wheat Ridge: That the City Council hereby finds and concludes with regard to the annexation of the territory described in Exhibit A attached hereto and fully incorporated herein by this reference, that the area proposed for annexation does not comply with the applicable portions of Sections 31-12-104 and 31-12-105, C.R.S., and that pursuant to Section 31-12-110(1) (c), C.R.S. the annexation proceeding concerning such area is hereby terminated.
