RESOLUTION NO. 1538
TITLE:
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PARKING HOUR RESTRICTIONS
AT THE CITY OWNED PARKING LOT LOCATED AT 7172 WEST 38TH
AVENUE.
WHEREAS, The City of Wheat Ridge acquired the parcel of property
located at 7172 West 38th Avenue in conjunction with the West
38th Avenue Rehabilitation Project; and
WHEREAS, The City acquired this parcel of property for the
intended use of providing additional public parking to compensate
for parking lost to the Rehabilitation Project; and
WHEREAS, The City has adopted Ordinance 1019, Series of 1996
which allows the Director of Public Works to promulgate parking
hour regulations on City owned property; and

WHEREAS, In order to facilitate greater public use, the Director
of Public Works is recommending to City Council that parking in
the City owned public parking lot at 7172 West 38th Avenue be
restricted to no more two consecutive hours between the hours of
8;00 am and 5;00 pm, Sunday through Saturday, inclusive.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT
Sec 1. The City Council, In accordance with the provisions of
Ordinance 1019, Series of 1996, hereby establishes parking hour
regulations on the City owned property at 7172 West 38th Avenue.
Sec. 2. The parking hour regulations limit the parking on the
property to no more than two consecutive hours per day between
the hours of 8;00 am and 5;00 pm, Sunday through Saturday,
inclusive.
Sec. 3. The Director of Public Works and the Director of Public
Safety, or their designees are directed to post appropriate
regulatory signage informing the public of these regulations and
provide appropriate enforcement after posting of the regulatory
signs.
