TITLE:
RESOLUTION TO THE PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION
ASKING FOR A SITE RECOMMENDATION FOR A RECREATIONAL
CENTER FOR WHEAT RIDGE.
WHEREAS, the City Council believes a Recreational Center is a viable project
for the City of Wheat Ridge, and;
WHEREAS, the City Council has narrowed Recreational Center locations to six
property sites, and;
WHEREAS, the City council has not approved a final design of a Recreational
Center, and;
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Commission is an advisory board to the
City Council,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT
The City Council requests a site recommendation from the Parks and
Recreation Commission for a Recreational Center for Wheat Ridge.
The Parks and Recreation Commission may perform surveys and/or studies as
necessary to determine the most viable site.
The Parks and Recreation Commission will make a recommendation to the City
Council no later than the first study session in December 1996.
DONE AND RESOLVED this 26th day of August 1996.
