TITLE:
RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE CITY BUDGET, AND APPROPRIATING
SUMS OF MONEY TO THE VARIOUS FUNDS AND SPENDING AGENCIES
IN THE AMOUNTS SPECIFIED BELOW, FOR THE CITY OF WHEAT
RIDGE, COLORADO FOR THE 1997 BUDGET YEAR.
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge Annual Budget for the
fiscal year of 1997 has been established and public Hearings and
Meetings have been held after duly published public notices; and
WHEREAS, The Budget provides for revenues equal or
greater than the total proposed expenditures as set forth in said
budget in the total amount of $25,478,011 which includes the
following funds:
I. Fund 01 - General Fund $12,924,513
2. Fund 30 - Capital Projects $ 7,467,115
3. Fund 11 - Park Acquisition Fund $ 10,000
4. Fund 17 - Police Investigation Fund $ 25,000
5. Fund 25 - Sales Tax Revenue Bonds $ 1,077,325
6. Fund 32 - Open Space Fund $ 1,388,440
7. Fund 50 - Sales Tax Revenue Reserve $ 26,910
8. Fund 53 - Senior Center Fund $ 10,000
9. Fund 54 - Conservation Trust Fund $ 98,618
10. Fund 55 - Building Repair/Demo Fund $ 6,000
1L Fund 57 - Equipment Fund $ 434,000
12. Fund 19 - Compensated Absences $ 70,000
13 . Fund 36 - Park & Recreation Deposit $ 15,000

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City of Wheat
Ridge Total Budget as stated in this Resolution be hereby approved,
adopted and appropriated for the fiscal period beginning January 1,
1997 and ending December 31, 1997.
DONE AND RESOLVED this 16TH day of December, 1996.
