RESOLUTION NO. 1587
TITLE
A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR ACCEPT A1'\.fCE OF GRANT FUNDS
FROM THE COLORADO CONSORTIUM FOR COlYIMUNITY POLICING
AND AUTHORlZING A SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET APPROPRlATION
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat RIdge Pollee Department has been awarded a Colorado
ConsortIUm for Community Policing Grant In the amount of $936 38, and
WHEREAS, the funds from the grant will be used In conjunctIOn with the STAMP
Program, and
WHEREAS, the Police budget will be Increased by the amount of$936 38 In account 01-
202-650-654 In order to pay for costs directly related to the grant.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Councll of the CIty of Wheat
RIdge, that the City accept the funds from the grant and approve a supplemental budget
appropnation and expendIture for the ST A1\1P Program,
DONE AND RESOLVED thIS 10th Day of February, 1997
