RESOLUTION NO. 1609
TITLE'
A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE CREATION OF A SPECIAL
REVENUE FUND FOR THE PURPOSE OF BUILDING A NEW
RECREATION CENTER.
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge is developing plans for construction ofa recreation
center; AND
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of segregating existing funds that might be
applied to the construction of a recreation center; AND
WHEREAS, this resolution will establish a special revenue fund to receive and expend any
funds to be dedicated to a recreation center; AND
WHEREAS, in order to assist funding of the proposed recreation center this resolution
will prOVide the transfer of funds from the Conservation Trust Fund of $80,000 00, less
expenditures of$30, 121.64 already made, from account 54-601-800-862 for a total
transfer of$49,878.36, AND
WHEREAS, in order to assist funding of the proposed recreation center this resolution
will provide for the transfer of funds from the Capital Fund, $582,419 from account 30-
303-800-845
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council ofthe City of Wheat
Ridge, that a special revenue fund be established in order to facilitate the proposed
recreation center project and that the above amount be transferred into the newly created
fund and the budget be amended as necessary
