TITLE
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING REIMBURSEMENT AND AUTHORIZING
PAYMENT FROM THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE SHARE OF THE
JEFFERSON COUNTY OPEN SPACE FUND FOR THE COSTS TO
PURCHASE THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 9110 AND 9130 WEST 44TH
AVENUE IN WHEAT RIDGE.
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Open Space Fund was established to acquire
land for Parks & Recreation purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge has purchased the property located at 9110
and 9130 West 44th Avenue for Parks & Recreation purposes, and
WHEREAS, there are sufficient funds in the City of Wheat Ridge share of the
Jefferson County Open Space Fund to reimburse the the City for the purchase costs of this
property
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT
The Jefferson County Open Space Fund reimburse the City of Wheat Ridge for the
cost to purchase the property located at 9110 and 9130 West 44th Avenue, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED
The cost shall include $520,000 the purchase price, $2,200 for the environmental
assessment, and $2,450 for the survey; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED
All costs be 100% from the City of Wheat Ridge share of the Jefferson County
Open Space Fund.
