TITLE:
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO SIGN THE REIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT FROM
JEFFERSON COUNTY FOR REIMBURSEMENT OF COST TO
ACQUIRE THE RECREATION CENTER PROPERTY LOCATED AT
3975 KIPLING, 4075 KIPLING, AND 10150 W 40TH AVE.
WHEREAS, The City of Wheat Ridge has acquired the property located at 3975
Kipling, 4075 Kiplmg, and 10150 W 40TH Avenue for the construction of the Wheat Ridge
Recreation Center; and
WHEREAS, The voters have approved the 'h cent sales tax increase for the
constructIOn of the Recreation Center; and
WHEREAS, The Jefferson County Board of County CommissIOners have
approved the reimbursement of the property acquisition costs; and
that;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by The Wheat Ridge City Council
1) The property located at 3975 Kipling, 4075 Kipling, and 10150 West 40th
Ave be transferred to Jefferson County and then transferred back to the City through
commissioners deed.
2) The Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to sign the Reimbursement
Agreement requesting reimbursement of the acquisition cost for the recreation center property
located at 3975 Kipling, 4075 Kipling, and 10150 W 40th Avenue.
