TITLE:
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF THE APPLICATION
FOR THE 1999 JOINT VENTURE/GRANT PROJECT TO JEFFERSON
COUNTY OPEN SPACE - SOCCER FIELD DEVELOPMENT ON THE
WII EA T RIDGE RECREATION CENTER PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4005
KIPLING STREET IN WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO
WII ERF:AS, the voters ofJefferson County voted on November 4, 1980 to allow for
mall1tenance and devclopmcnt of Open Space lands and property; and
WHEREAS, the Jeffcrson County Open Space has mstltuted a Jomt Venture/Grant
Prolect program, and
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge has soccer tield development needs that are
bcyond our means, and
WHEREAS, the Cltv of Wheat Ridge has the OpportU111ty to enter mto a Jomt
V cnturc/C .rant ProJcct With Jefferson County Open Space for Jomt fundmg.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT
The (It v of Wheat Ridge apply for a 1999 Jomt Venture/Grant Project for the
construction of a soccer tield at 4005 KIPhn!.!: Street.
