TITLE:
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPOINTMENT OF DEPUTY
CITY TREASURER
BE IT RESOLVED that Valene D Adams, City Manager, or Jack A
Hurst, ChIef of Police, City of Wheat Ridge, IS authonzed m the name of the City of
Wheat Ridge, to collect, and assIgn all checks, drafts, notes and other negotIable or
non-negotIable instruments payable to this City, or m which thIS City has an mterest,
and to draw, sIgn and deliver, m the name of thIS CIty, checks or drafts agaInst the
funds of thiS CIty on depOSIt in the First Bank of Wheat RIdge;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that for the purpose of carrymg out
thiS resolutIOn that Valerie D. Adams or Jack A Hurst mentIOned aforesaId be and are
appoInted as Deputy Treasurers for the CIty of Wheat RIdge m the absence of the cIty
Treasurer;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the authonty of the aforesaid
Deputy Treasurers to perform each and all of the powers conferred by the foregomg
Resolution shall be m effect from March 1, 2000,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that thiS Resolution supersedes and
rescmds prevIOus resolutIons appoIntmg Deputy City Treasurers and shall remaIn in
effect untIl notIce of termmatlOn of such authOrIty shall be served m writmg upon the
First Bank of Wheat Ridge, Wheat RIdge, Colorado.
DONE AND RESOLVED thIS 14thdayof February, 2000.
