TITLE:
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER TO SEEK
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR A PROFESSIONAL
CONSUL T ANT TO PERFORM AN EV ALUA TION AND
ANAL YSIS OF THE CITY'S ORGANIZATIONAL SYSTEMS
AND PROCESSES
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat RIdge IS stnvIllg to meet the challenges
expected III the new mIllennIUm; and
WHEREAS, In order to assure the CIty of Wheat RIdge IS successful In
meetIng and resolVIng these challenges, the CIty of Wheat RIdge would lIke to seek
Request for Proposals to perform an orgamzatlOnal evaluatIOn to provIde the CIty WIth
detmled feedback and InformatIOn needed to IdentIfy speCIfic Issues and areas
requlflng attentIon,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the CIty CouncIl of the
CIty of Wheat RIdge, Colorado, as follows:
1. The CIty Manager IS authOrIzed to seek requests for proposals for a
profeSSIOnal consultant to perform an analYSIS of the CIty's orgamzatlOnal systems
and processes
2. The CIty Manager shall reVIew the Request for Proposals and submIt
to the CIty Council for final reVIew and approval, the best qualIfied professional
consultant that will perform the work III the best Interest of the CIty of Wheat RIdge
