TITLE:
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN THE NOTICE OF
EXERCISE OF RIGHT OF FIRST REFUSAL FOR PURCHASE OF 3705 JAY
STREET, WHEAT RIDGE, CO.
WHEREAS, The Wheat Ridge City Council desires to purchase the Davis
Property consisting of 5.3 acres of property more or less, located
at 3705 Jay Street; and
WHEREAS, The City of Wheat Ridge and the Davis Family have entered
into an agreement giving the City of Wheat Ridge the First Right of
Refusal to purchase said property if an offer is received by the
Davis Family from other than the City; and
WHEREAS, The Davis Family has received an offer to purchase the
property from a purchaser other than the city; and
WHEREAS, The Wheat Ridge City Council desire to exercise the First
Right of Refusal to purchase the Davis Property; and
NOW THERE FORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF WHEAT RIDGE THAT:
1) THE MAYOR BE AUTHORIZED TO SIGN THE NOTICE OF EXERCISE OF RIGHT OF
FIRST REFUSAL FOR PURCHASE OF 3705 JAY STREET, THE DAVIS PROPERTY.
2) The City Staff to submit the purchase agreement to the Davis Family
substantially in the form attached.
DONE AND RESOLVED THIS 10TH DAY
