TITLE:
A RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE CML EXECUTIVE
BOARD CANDIDACY OF MAYOR GRETCHEN CERVENY
WHEREAS, the Colorado MuniCIpal League (CML) requires that candidates for 1he
CML ExecutIve Board receive the endorsement of 1he appropnate community's legislative body;
and
WHEREAS, Mayor Cerveny has expressed in1erest in serving on the CML Executive
Board, and
WHEREAS, Mayor Cerveny's servIce on behalf of the City of Wheat Ridge on the CML
Executive Board would be advantageous to the CIty of Wheat Ridge, and
WHEREAS, on issues thai affect the City of Wheat Ridge directly, Mayor Cerveny will
poll the Wheat Ridge City CouncIl for opimons and wIll vole at the CML ExecutIve Board
meetmgs to ret1ect the Council majonty on such issues.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Wheat
Ridge that the candidacy and service for the CML Executive Board is hereby endorsed as said
service would be benefiCial to the City of Wheat Ridge
