SERIES OF 2000
TITLE:
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE HABITAT GARDENING PROGRAM
GRANT FOR THE YEAR 2000, IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,666.66 AND
AMENDING THE 2000 OPEN SPACE FUND (32) BUDGET TO ACCEPT
THE FUNDS AND EXPEND THE FUNDS FOR THE HABITAT GARDEN
LOCATED IN PROSPECT PARK
WHEREAS, The CIty of Wheat RIdge has developed a HabItat Garden In Prospect Park;
and
WHEREAS, The HabItat Garden In Prospect Park IS In need of addItIonal slgnage,
plantmgs, and brochures, and
WHEREAS, The CIty of Wheat RIdge has been awarded a grant from the Habitat
Gardening Program In the amount of$1,666 66 to fund Improvements to the
Prospect Park HabItat Garden, and
WHEREAS, The Open Space Fund Budget WIll be amended to receIve the revenue and
authonze the expenditure of these funds.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE CITY
COUNCIL THAT:
1) The CIty of Wheat Ridge accept the HabItat Gardening Grant in the amount of
$1,66666
2) The 2000 Open Space Fund Budget be amended to receIve the funds m to Account
32-520-564
3) The 2000 Open Space Fund Budget be amended to expend the $1,666.66 from
Account 32-601-862.
