RESOLUTION NO. 40-2000
TITLE:
A RESOLUTION CLARIFYING POLICY ON CODE ENFORCEMENT
ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wheat Ridge sets policy; and
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge has a Code Enforcement Division, and
WHEREAS, Code Enforcement's task is to help protect the health, safety, and
welfare of Wheat Ridge citizens, and
WHEREAS, properties violating Chapter 15 or 26 of the Wheat Ridge Code of
Laws negatively affects adjacent property values, and,
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has ruled the Code Enforcement must be
enforced equally within the City;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE WHEAT RIDGE CITY
COUNCIL THAT:
The City Council directs the City Manager to begin pro-active Code Enforcement within
the entire City of Wheat Ridge effective immediately
DONE AND RESOLVED THIS 23RD DAY OF OCTOBER, 2000.
