RESOLUTION NO. 21-2001

TITLE:
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2001 BUDGET TO REFLECT
ACCEPTANCE OF THE 2000 UNDERAGE DRINKING PROGRAM GRANT
WHEREAS, Lhe City of Wheat Ridge applied for and was awarded a grant to
help the Police Department fight underage drinking; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to accept the grant In the amount of
$8,500; and
WHEREAS, the Wheat Ridge Charter requires that amendments to the budget
be effected by the City Council adopting a Resolution;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Wheat
Ridge, Colorado, as follows:
A. The City hereby accepts the award
B. The City Manager is authorized to execute all documents necessary
for the acceptance of the award.
C. Upon receipt of the funds, that the funds be placed In the General
Fund.
D. The City of Wheat Ridge fiscal year 2001 Budget be amended
accordingly specifically adding funds for Police overtime, Alco
sensors and educational literature in Account 01~205~605
E. The funds be encumbered for the length of the project which
expressly allows the expenditure of funds in 2001 and 2002 for this
project.
DONE AND RESOLVED THIS
