TITLE:
A RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE CML EXECUTIVE BOARD
CANDIDACY OF MAYOR GRETCHEN CERVENY
WHEREAS, one of the members of the CML ExecutIve Board, representing the middle CIty
category, was not reelected to Council, and
WHEREAS, CML IS seekmg an elected offiCIal from a medlUm city category to serve on the
Executive Board through June 2002, and
WHEREAS, Mayor Gretchen Cerveny has expressed mterest in applying to fill the vacancy
from the medium city category; and
WHEREAS, the Colorado Municipal League (CML) requires that candidates for the CML
Executive Board receive the endorsement of the appropriate community's legislatlVe body; and
WHEREAS, Mayor Cerveny's service on behalf of the City of Wheat RIdge on the CML
Executive Board would be advantageous to the City of Wheat Ridge
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Wheat
Ridge that the candidacy of Mayor Gretchen Cerveny for the CML ExecutlVe Board is hereby
endorsed as said service would be beneficial to the City of Wheat Ridge
