A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL;
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE AND THE
TOWN OF MOUNTAIN VlEW FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING
PUBLIC WORKS SERVICES
Section l4.2 of the Home Rule Charter ofthe CIty of Wheat RIdge provIdes express
authority to enter into intergovernmental agreements provldmg for cooperatIve
efforts between governments; and
The CIty of Wheat RIdge would be employed to proVide public works services and
products to Mountain View as outlmed m the Intergovernmental Agreement; and
DISCUSSIons with the Mayor of Mountain View have taken place regarding the CIty
formally proVIding these services and has agreed to bring this Issue before the CIty
Council for their consideratIOn, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT
Sec 1
The Mayor of the City of Wheat Ridge IS hereby authonzed to execute the
Intergovernmental Agreement attached hereto with the Town of Mountain
View to provide publIc works servIces and products to Mountam View as
outlmed.
