TITLE:
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2003
BUDGET TO REFLECT ACCEPTANCE OF THE STATE
JUVENILE ACCOUNT ABILITY INCENTIVE BLOCK
GRANT
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge applied for and was awarded a grant to
assist the Wheat Ridge Police Department in fundmg it's al10cated share of unfounded
costs associated With the Jefferson County Juvemle Assessment Center; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deSires to accept the grant m the amount of
$16,114; and
WHEREAS, the Wheat Ridge Charter reqUires that amendments to the budget be
effected by the City Council adoptlllg a ResolutIOn.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Wheat Ridge, Colorado, as follows:
A. The City hereby accepts the grant.
B The CIty Manager IS authonzed to execute al1 documents necessary for the
acceptance of the award.
C Upon receipt of the funds, that the funds be placed m the general fund.
D The CIty of Wheat Ridge fiscal year 2003 budget be amended accordingly,
speCIfically addlllg $l6,l14 into the Police Department profeSSIOnal
services account (Ol-20l-700-750).
DONE AND RESOLVED THIS 28th day of July 2003.
