TITLE:
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2005
BUDGET TO REFLECT ACCEPTANCE OF THE
SCIENTIFIC AND CULTURAL FACILITIES GRANT FOR
THE PURPOSE OF THE CONCERTS IN THE PARK
PROGAM
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat RIdge applied for and was awarded a grant to
proVIde a Concerts in the Park program; and
WHEREAS, the CIty Council desires to accept the funds in the amount of
$3,800; and
WHEREAS, the City Council supports Cultural Arts Programs,
WHEREAS, the Wheat RIdge Charter reqUIres that amendments to the budget be
effected by the City Council adopting a Resolution,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Wheat Ridge, Colorado, as follows:
A. The CIty hereby accepts the funds.
B The CIty Manager IS authorized to execute all documents necessary for the
acceptance of the funds.
C Upon receipt of the funds, that the funds be placed m the General Fund.
D The City of Wheat Ridge fiscal year 2005 Budget be amended
accordmgly, specifically addmg $3,800 into the Recreation Admmistration
budget account (01-602-600-640).
