TITLE:
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT REGARDING
FUNDING OF MAJOR DRAINAGEWAY PLANNING UPDATE
AND FLOOD HAZARD AREA DELINEATION FOR CLEAR
CREEK, ALONG WITH APPROVING EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS
IN THE AMOUNT OF $35,000 FOR THE PROJECT
WHEREAS, a standard agreement between Urban Drainage and Flood Control
District, Adams County, City of Wheat Ridge, Jefferson County, City and County of
Denver and City of Golden has been prepared regarding funding of Major Drainageway
Planning Update and Flood Hazard Area Delineation for Clear Creek, and
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of the study is $240,000, with the District
financing 50% of the total project; and
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge is responsible for a proportionate share of
the study determined by the length of Clear Creek segment traversing the City, and,
WHEREAS, the City's share of the project will be $35,000, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Wheat Ridge City Council, that:
Section 1. AQreement Approved
The Agreement Regarding Funding of Major Drainageway Planning Update and
Flood Hazard Area Delineation for Clear Creek be approved
Section 2. Expenditure Approved
The expenditure of not to exceed $35,000 is hereby approved from CIP account
#30-302-800-849, for the purpose of the Major Drainageway Planning Update and
Flood Hazard Area Delineation for Clear Creek.
Section 3.Effective Date
This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption
