TITLE: A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR
2005 GENERAL FUND BUDGET TO REFLECT THE APPROVAL
OF A SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET APPROPRIATION IN THE
AMOUNT OF $14,864 TO REINSTATE ONE RECREATION
CLERK POSITION AT THE SENIOR/COMMUNITY CENTER
FROM 0.5 FTE TO 1.0 FTE
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge Strategic Plan mcludes a goal for Leisure
Amemtles for Families, and
WHEREAS, the City Council supports Semor Recreation Programs and wishes
to continue these programs at the level pnor to 2004 budget reductions, and
WHEREAS, the 2004 ballot questIOn for an increase m the City's sales and use
tax rate proposed additional funds to maIlltam appropnate Park and Recreation staff; and
WHEREAS, staff recommends reIllstatement of this positIOn to meet the
objective of providIllg more semor programs and maIlltamIllg serVices, and
WHEREAS, the Wheat Ridge Charter requires that amendments to the budget be
effected by the City CounCil adoptIllg a Resolution,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Wheat Ridge, Colorado, as follows:
The followmg amendment to the Fiscal Year 2005 General Fund budget is hereby
approved.
(a) A supplemental budget appropnation from General Fund umeserved fund balance
III the amount of $14,864 to account #01-624-600-602.
(b) This resolutIOn shall be effective begmning June 6, 2005
