A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2005
BUDGET AND AWARD OF RFP-05-02 FOR THE PURCHASE
OF BROADCAST AUTOMATION AND CONTROL SYSTEM,
AND EQUPMENT FOR OPERATION OF THE
GOVERNMENT ACCESS CHANNELS
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the need for a new broadcast system as
part of if s strategic plan to maintain an open and transparent city government; and
WHEREAS, the use of PEG (public educatIOn and government) fees can only be
utilized for equipment needed for operating the government access channels, and
WHEREAS, the Wheat Ridge Charter requires that amendments to the budget be
effected by the City Council adopting a ResolutIOn.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Wheat Ridge, Colorado, as follows:
A. The City Council authonzes the transfer of $97,634 for the purchase of a
new broadcast system, computer presentatIOn system, and relocation of
video controls and momtor station from the general fund undesignated
reserves to account 01-113-700-704 and amending the 2005 fiscal year
budget accordmgly
DONE AND RESOLVED THIS 13th day of June 2005.
