TITLE:
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2006
BUDGET TO REFLECT THE APPROVAL OF A
SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET APPROPRIATION IN THE
AMOUNT OF $29,000 FOR CHANNEL 8 EQUIPMENT
MAINTENANCE AND REPLACEMENT
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the need to maintain its channel 8 program
operation as part of it's strategic plan to maintam an open and transparent city government, and
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes that on-going equipment maintenance, repair
and replacement is necessary for seamless operations; and
WHEREAS, the use of PEG fee revenues can only be utilized for equipment associated
With operating the government access channel; and
WHEREAS, the Wheat Ridge Charter requires that amendments to the budget be
effected by the City Council adopting a Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Wheat
Ridge, Colorado, as follows:
A. The City Council authorizes a supplemental budget appropriation from the
general fund undesignated reserves m the amount of $29,000 to account 01-113-
700-704 and amends the 2006 fiscal year budget accordmgly
DONE AND RESOLVED THIS 13th day of March 2006.
