TITLE: CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE RESOLUTION NO. 18 Series of 2009 A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2009 OPEN SPACE FUND BUDGET TO REFLECT THE APPROVAL OF A SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET APPROPRIATION
IN THE AMOUNT OF $185,000 FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACQUIRING APPROXIMATEL Y1.5 ACRES OF LAND LOCATED AT 4593 PARFET STREET, FOR CONSOLIDATION OF THE PUBLIC WORKS AND PARKS OPERATIONS FACILITY
WHEREAS, the City entered into a contract to purchase approximately 1.5 acres of property at 4593 Parfet Street on October 27,2008 to accommodate consolidation of the Public Works and
Parks Shops Operations Facility; and WHEREAS, the use of Open Space Funds for this purpose is compliant with Jefferson County Open Space policies; and WHEREAS, the Wheat Ridge Charter
requires that amendments to the budget be effected by the City Council adopting a Resolution; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Wheat Ridge City Council that: The following amendment
to the 2009 Open Space Fund budget is hereby approved: A supplemental budget appropriation from the Open Space Fund undesignated reserves in the total amount of $185,000 to account #32-601-800-809
for the purpose of acquiring the 1.5 acre parcel located at 4593 Parfet Street. DONE AND RESOLVED THIS 3-day of March, 2009. ATTEST: Michael Snow, City Clerk
