TITLE: CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO RESOLUTION NO. 24 Series of 2009 A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2009 GENERAL FUND BUDGET TO REFLECT THE APPROVAL OF A SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET
APPROPRIATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $14,988 FOR THE PURPOSE OF MEETING THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE VIRGINIA GRAHAM BAKER ACT TO RETROFIT THE OUTDOOR POOL DRAINS WHEREAS, the City is required
through federally mandated, unfunded legislation to comply with the Virginia Graham Baker Act; and WHEREAS, the Act requires all swimming pool and spa drains to be retrofitted to meet
a specific standard of water volume and velocity; and WHEREAS, the City owns and operates swimming pool facilities and spas; and WHEREAS, the Wheat Ridge Charter requires that amendments
to the budget be effected by the City Council adopting a Resolution; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Wheat Ridge, Colorado, as follows: The following
amendment to the 2009 General Fund budget is hereby approved: A supplemental budget appropriation from the General Fund reserve balance in the total amount of$14,988; $11,488 to account
#01-623-800-812 and $3,500 to account #01-601-700-750 for the purpose of meeting the requirements of the Virginia Graham Baker Act. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon
